  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Stir in ice water until dough forms.
  4. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  7. Place filling on half of each circle, fold and seal edges.
  8. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  9. Fry pies until golden on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
