Strawberry Swirl Cheesecake

A delectable strawberry swirl cheesecake that is simple enough for home chefs to make.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust, then add the strawberry puree in dollops on top.
  6. Swirl the strawberry puree into the cheesecake batter with a knife for a marbled effect.
  7. Pour the remaining cream cheese mixture over the top and smooth out.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until set. Let it cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
  9. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with fresh strawberries on top for added flavor.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
