  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Marinate chicken in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken until browned and cooked through.
  3. In another pot, prepare jasmine rice according to package instructions using chicken broth instead of water.
  4. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and divide into bowls.
  5. Slice the chicken and place it on top of the rice.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
