Sesame Ginger Green Bean Salad

A refreshing and simple salad that combines the crispness of green beans with the bold flavors of sesame and ginger.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and cool under cold water.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, grated ginger, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Toss the cooled green beans in the dressing until well coated.
  4. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
