Ribeye and Roasted Garlic Pan Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 head garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the top off the head of garlic and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Wrap in foil and roast for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Season the ribeye steaks with salt and pepper.
  5. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  6. Remove steaks and let them rest.
  7. In the same skillet, add roasted garlic, mash it, and then add butter and beef broth.
  8. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  9. Serve the steaks with the pan sauce drizzled on top.
