  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. Separate the egg whites and yolks into different bowls.
  2. Whisk the egg yolks with milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  5. Mix in the flour and baking powder until just combined.
  6. Preheat a skillet over low heat and grease with butter.
  7. Pour the batter into the skillet and cover with a lid.
  8. Cook for 3–4 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with toppings of your choice.
