  • 1 French baguette
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Brush each slice with olive oil and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, basil, balsamic glaze, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine.
  5. Once the bread is toasted, top each slice with the tomato mixture.
