Crock Pot Pierogi and Kielbasa Casserole

An easy and delicious recipe for a comforting casserole made with pierogi and kielbasa.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 3 cups frozen pierogi
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a Crock Pot, layer the sliced kielbasa on the bottom.
  2. Add the frozen pierogi on top of the kielbasa.
  3. Spread the diced onion and sauerkraut over the pierogi.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  5. Pour the cheese mixture evenly over the layers in the Crock Pot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pierogi are tender.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add chopped jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Feel free to use any type of pierogi you prefer.
