Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract; mix for 2 minutes on medium speed.
  4. Stir in boiling water until well combined.
  5. Pour batter evenly into prepared pans.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes in the pans, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
