  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup tonkatsu sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 sesame seed, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the rice according to package instructions.
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each chicken breast piece in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then fry the chicken cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Once cooked, drain on paper towels and slice into strips.
  6. To assemble, place a scoop of rice in a bowl and top with sliced chicken, drizzle with tonkatsu sauce, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce before breading.
