Walking Taco Casserole: A Fiesta of Flavors in Every Bite

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups tortilla chips
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water; stir until well combined and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips, followed by half of the beef mixture, half of the cheese, and half of the tomatoes.
  5. Repeat layers and finish with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and top with olives, sour cream, and green onions before serving.
