Strawberry Cream Puffs

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine butter and water and bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the flour and mix until the dough forms a ball. Remove from heat.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool completely.
  8. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  9. Slice the cooled puffs and fill them with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.
  10. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
