- 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 3 cups potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add diced steak to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Stir in onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Add potatoes, beef broth, and thyme; bring to a boil and then simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in cream and cooked turkey bacon; season with salt and pepper.
