- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Stir in cheeses until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni and turkey bacon to the cheese sauce; mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
