- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, diced
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups red wine
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
- Add beef cubes to the slow cooker along with onions, carrots, and garlic.
- Stir in the cooked turkey bacon, wine, beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, and bay leaf.
