Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake

A delicious baked pasta dish with shrimp and a rich scampi sauce.

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and red pepper flakes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta, lemon juice, and half of the Parmesan cheese to the skillet, mixing well to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbling and golden brown.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add more red pepper flakes.
  • Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
