Delicious pumpkin donuts that are perfect for fall baking.

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, both sugars, and eggs.
  3. Add in the vegetable oil and mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a donut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • These donuts taste best when glazed or dusted with powdered sugar.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
