  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, one with beaten eggs, and another with the pretzel mixture.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg, then coat with the pretzel mixture.
  5. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine the cheddar cheese, mustard, and honey over low heat until melted and smooth.
  7. Serve the chicken drizzled with the cheddar-mustard sauce.
