A delicious and spicy Korean BBQ steak rice bowl recipe.

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, gochujang, and honey for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill the steak over medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly against the grain.
  4. In bowls, layer rice, sliced steak, shredded carrots, cucumbers, and top with chopped green onions.
  5. Drizzle with spicy cream sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more gochujang to the sauce.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the bowl.
