Jalapeño Popper Casserole

A deliciously indulgent casserole combining the flavors of jalapeño poppers with turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound turkey bacon
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup jalapeños, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and spices.
  4. Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more jalapeños or some diced chipotle peppers.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
