  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge the chicken thighs in the flour mixture, then add them to the boiling broth.
  4. Let the chicken cook for about 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken and set aside, then melt butter in the pot.
  6. Stir in the remaining flour mixture, then gradually whisk in milk to create a smooth gravy.
  7. Add the chicken back into the gravy and simmer for another 10 minutes.
