Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1.5 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
  4. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and press it into a greased baking sheet.
  6. Top with rosemary and drizzle with olive oil. Let it rise for another 20 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
