- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1.5 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
- In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
- Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and press it into a greased baking sheet.
- Top with rosemary and drizzle with olive oil. Let it rise for another 20 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
