High Protein Creamy Taco Soup

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, black beans, corn, chicken broth, and taco seasoning.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and jalapeño, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
