Ground Beef Stroganoff

A delicious and easy recipe for Ground Beef Stroganoff that brings a comforting twist to your dinner table.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the flour with a little beef broth to make a slurry.
  5. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika to the skillet, then stir in the slurry.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream until combined.
  8. Serve over noodles or rice.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, let the stroganoff simmer longer.
  • Can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
