  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • green food coloring (to desired shade)
  • 1 cup buttercream frosting
  • candy eyes (for decoration)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. Add green food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  6. Fill the cupcake liners with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Let them cool completely before frosting.
  8. Frost with buttercream frosting and decorate with candy eyes and chocolate sprinkles.
