- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Swiss or Gruyère)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, combine the orzo, chicken broth, cooked chicken, turkey bacon, French onion soup, black pepper, and thyme.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
