Crème Brûlée French Toast

Indulge in this rich and creamy Crème Brûlée French Toast paired perfectly with crispy turkey bacon for a breakfast experience like no other.

  • 8 slices brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • for topping granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon.
  2. Place brioche slices in a shallow dish and pour the egg mixture over the top, allowing it to soak for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook soaked brioche slices until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Sprinkle the top of each slice with granulated sugar and use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until golden.
  6. Serve immediately with crispy turkey bacon on the side.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use half-and-half instead of milk.
  • Make sure to caramelize the sugar just before serving for the best texture.
