Creamy Parmesan Italian Sausage Soup

  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onions and garlic, sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to gentle heat.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring until cheese is melted.
  6. Fold in spinach and season with salt and pepper, cooking until spinach is wilted.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, reduce the amount of broth.
