- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 cup wild rice
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
