  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and powdered sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
  4. Fold in cranberries and orange zest.
  5. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Flatten each ball slightly and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges begin to turn golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
