  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion until fully cooked.
  3. Add garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt to the mixture.
  4. Stir in the uncooked rice and beef broth, then bring to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
