Cheeseburger Soup

This creamy and hearty cheeseburger soup combines the indulgent flavors of beef and turkey bacon, perfect for a cozy meal.

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Use the bacon drippings to brown the ground beef, then add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the flour, then gradually add the beef broth, stirring to combine.
  4. Add the potatoes and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until tender.
  5. Stir in the milk and cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, topped with crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños.
