Brie Pull-Apart Bread with Pears and Caramelized Onions Recipe

A deliciously indulgent Brie pull-apart bread featuring sweet pears and savory caramelized onions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf pull-apart bread
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese
  • 2 pears, sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the onions.
  3. Sauté the onions until they are caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add the brown sugar, thyme, salt, and pepper, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Cut the pull-apart bread into squares without cutting all the way through.
  7. Stuff the squares with Brie cheese, pear slices, and caramelized onions.
  8. Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the bread is warm for easier pulling apart.
  • Experiment with different cheeses if desired.
