  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter with sugar over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter over the mixed berries in a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
