  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 4 ounces pâté
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear in a hot pan with olive oil until browned on all sides.
  3. In the same pan, cook the onions and garlic until soft, then add the mushrooms and cook until all moisture has evaporated.
