- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- Add the beef to the skillet and cook until browned; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion, garlic, and mushrooms until tender.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute before adding beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer.
- Add back the beef and turkey bacon, then stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine with the cooked egg noodles and serve warm.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, increase the amount of flour used.
