Beef Stroganoff

Enjoy a delicious twist on classic Beef Stroganoff with turkey bacon for added flavor and comfort.

  • 1 pound beef, sliced
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the bacon drippings, sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
  5. Stir in beef and cook until browned.
  6. Mix in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and flour, then add to the skillet.
  8. Stir in bacon, and cook until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve over cooked egg noodles.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add more sour cream.
  • Serve with a side of fresh green salad.
