  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Carefully wash the zucchini flowers and remove the stamen.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stuff each flower with the cheese mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour and sparkling water until smooth to make the batter.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  6. Dip each stuffed flower in the batter and carefully place it in hot oil.
  7. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
