Apple Cider Cupcakes You’ll Want to Bake All Fall Long

Deliciously spiced and moist, these apple cider cupcakes are the perfect treat for fall.

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar together until fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, apple cider, and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling them about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow cupcakes to cool before serving.
