  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
  2. Allow the melted chocolate to cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled chocolate until combined.
  5. Transfer the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate.
